Hello! My name is Chelsea Comer. I will be a graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design in the Spring of 2014. I’m an Illustrator. I really like dogs and just got a new puppy! Her name is Avery.
My work tends to be driven towards Young Adults. I really enjoy the horror genre; reading, writing and creating! I love sequential artwork such as comics, animations, and story boards. I also like environmental and character concept artworks for games and movies. When I’m not farting out art I enjoy reading, playing with Avery, and watching horror movies. I'm not a cannibal.
My work has been displayed alongside the Body’s Exhibition in COSI and in the Ohio Youths Governor Show.
Artist Statement
Creating any kind of art helps me cope with the nightmares that plague my sleep, either for me or creating a piece for another. Sometimes I get inspired by my nightmares and use them as a starting point for story ideas; sometimes I prefer to draw extremely adorable pieces to help me forget. I do have a slight fixation on cannibalism. Horror is typically my preferred genre.
